Fun fact: Colleen married between her two years of graduate school at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Her fellow students, all accomplished ceramicists, gifted her Fiesta ware from her wedding registry. She designed her colorful pottery to complement those dishes as well.
Pattern notes: Colleen stole this pattern from a pair of short shorts she found while shopping with her teen daughter. The reddish orange color is true to the original pattern. It’s sassy and sweet with a boho vibe. The chrysanthemum blossom is a traditional motif in early Chinese Pottery and one of Colleen’s favorites to paint.
