Serving Platter with 3 Season Floral
Designed to be bright, bold and durable. Enjoy this unique handcrafted stoneware serving platter every day. Use as often as you wish around the dinner table. Display in your home as counter or wall art. Makes an excellent gift to commemorate any special occasion such as a wedding or anniversary.
This fun hand built slab pottery platter is also painted by hand with lead-free non-toxic underglazes. It’s decorated on both sides then glazed with a clear gloss. The ovoid shape is a useful size and a best seller. Use as a cheese board, pile it with brownies or celebrate with a feast.
The fresh vintage styling is casual yet elegant. Dress up or down with any commercial tableware. Shown here with Colleen's off-white wedding dishes. Add other hand painted serving dishes in the same pattern or complementary motif to curate your own dinnerware collection.
Dimensions: 14 3/4 inches by 10 1/2 inches by 1 inch high
Fun fact: Colleen married between her two years of graduate school at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Her fellow students, all accomplished ceramicists, gifted her Fiesta ware from her wedding registry. She designed her colorful pottery to complement those dishes as well.
Pattern notes: This 70's floral is full of so many great elements. The rainbow swoop is especially fun and playful. The flowers themselves represent 3 seasons: yellow forsythia in spring, poppies in summer followed by asters in fall. Then the string of pearls accent really pulls it all together. There's a smaller platter in this pattern as well as a square serving bowl if you are interested in a set of designer tableware. Click here to see the original inspiration.
