We use quality materials with great care. Our pottery clay is non-porous (vitreous) and our vibrant underglaze colors never fade. The final surface may be glazed with a glossy clear or fired without for a matte look. Matte surfaces are sealed to resist any staining. Lemons is glazed with clear. All others are matte.
Each piece is slip cast for uniformity of shape and size. The rim is reinforced with an extra coil of clay that is gently thumb pressed on the interior edge.
Happy plants prefer pots with drainage. Water in sink to let planter fully drain then use silicone coaster to protect surface from moisture and scratches.
Refrain from use during freezing temperatures as damp soil will expand and possibly crack the planter.
