Funnel Vase with Floral Band

This charming funnel vase features bold hand painted florals that wrap around its form. Each bloom is accentuated with sgraffito, where details are carved into the clay surface, creating wonderful texture and depth. The resulting blossoms look like a quilt applique. The petite calico on the upper neck of the vase is decorated directly on the dark brown clay surface. We like the contrast of having both the matte and gloss surfaces.
