We use quality materials with great care. Our pottery clay is non-porous (vitreous) and our vibrant underglaze colors never fade. The final surface may be glazed with a glossy clear or fired without for a matte look.
Each piece is slip cast for uniformity of shape and size. The rim is reinforced with an extra coil of clay that is gently thumb pressed on the interior edge. The final piece is strung with three sturdy brown braided cords and a stainless steel welded ring. See detail image.
Happy plants prefer pots with drainage. Be careful when watering indoors. We suggest moving the planter to the sink or putting a towel underneath until it has drained.
Refrain from use during freezing temperatures as damp soil will expand and possibly crack the planter.
